As trusted suppliers to the workplace industry, Stansons has built a strong culture around helping designers create better work environments. Their creative output is rich and varied – from a podcast to a magazine – but it was disconnected from their core product website. The brief was clear. Unify all communications into a single online hub that would not only provide information but foster a true community spirit.
Our process began with collaboration, blending brand understanding with UX expertise. Through discussions and focus groups with Stansons’ audience, we uncovered a key insight. Designers and specifiers are time-poor and need intuitive tools that simplify and accelerate their decision-making. We embraced this challenge, developing a core creative idea for the website – a digital space like a private members’ club. A curated destination for connection, content, and inspiration.
Transforming this insight into a practical solution, we designed and built an effective digital experience from the ground up. We started with a new site structure, redesigning the product database to create clearer relationships between product groups. We then developed a new digital identity, extending Stansons’ existing visual approach with an updated colour palette for improved contrast, alongside new typography and UI elements. The result is a hub full of practical tools. Easy access to specs, swatches, and a filterable product and project galleries now sit alongside downloads of their ‘Space’ magazine and product specs, making the site both functional and engaging.
The new Stansons’ digital hub is already demonstrating its value. Designers are actively using the new tools and resources. A clear sign of the platform’s intuitive appeal. It’s a versatile and sophisticated platform that empowers Stansons to connect more deeply with their community and share their story with impact and authenticity. We have delivered an engaging digital experience that provides a scalable foundation for Stansons to thrive, ensuring they continue to inspire and build lasting connections in the evolving workplace industry.
